Love Singing? Join the choir!
The Franklin Community Choir celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The first performance of the year will be on Palm Sunday, April 1st, in St Andrew's Anglican Church when the choir will sing motets and David Hamilton's Missa semplice. Later in the year the choir plans two performances of Haydn's choral classic The Creation. New recruits are needed for this programme.
The choir is a friendly group of people from around Franklin who love to sing together. New members are welcome, especially tenors and basses. The ability to read music is an advantage but not essential. Rehearsals are in the St James Church Hall on Monday nights from 7-9pm for more details, contact Jean Holden on 2387957.
