Community Swimming Pool

The Onewhero Community Swimming Pool will be opening on 20th November for the 2009/2010 season.

The pool will be open from 4-6pm for people who wish to purchase a key for the season. The cost this year has been reduced to $50.00 due to the recession. This is an extraordinary deal and we had lots of community members enjoy the season last year. You will be asked to sign an agreement on the collection of your key, agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined by the Swimming Pool Committee.

It was extremely disappointing to see only one member of the community turn up to the meeting last week. Donna Allely has put in a lot of work to keep the pool open and the lack of support indicates that perhaps the pool is not wanted by the community. Users have to help us run it. You can’t expect others to do it all the time!
